About IIDA OR
The Oregon chapter is comprised of over 200 members and enjoys a full calendar and a diverse set of programs. Each year the chapter offers several opportunities for continuing education as well as a design competition, community service event, student day, annual bowling fundraiser, tour of award-winning local projects and an annual meeting/ dinner. Several of our programs are long-standing events that are held every year due to demand, however, the board of directors also initiate new programs to address the evolving needs and interests of our membership.
Our chapter is an active voice in the community and we maintain communication with our membership through our website, award- winning newsletter, and electronic correspondence. The chapter also reaches out to prospective members and industry partners as well as members of other design associations. This collaboration enables the Oregon chapter to increase interest and participation in chapter events while providing our members with additional opportunities in the community.
IIDA Oregon is an active chapter with numerous events and programs offered throughout the year. In addition to our monthly educational programs, our Chapter helps promote and enhance the profession of Interior Design with the following events:
