Educational Fund

IIDA Oregon has established a Chapter Education Fund under the IIDA Foundation. This fund’s purpose is to promote education and professional development for our Members. At this time we will award (1) NCIDQ and (1) LEED exam reimbursement per year.

Guidelines

NCIDQ exam reimbursement: Only IIDA Associate Members in good standing are eligible to participate. Members who have taken and passed all required parts of the exam resulting in NCIDQ Certification may request consideration for reimbursement.  Maximum reimbursement will be the cost of one full exam (all three sections.) Reimbursement amounts are contingent upon whether the Member took all three parts at one time, or sat for the three parts at three separate exam times. Members who have taken sections at separate time within the eligibility time window may request consideration for reimbursement for the total amount. In the event that a Member’s firm/employer pays a portion of the cost of the exam, the IIDA Member can still apply for reimbursement for the portion he/she has paid.  Download application here.

LEED exam reimbursement: Only IIDA Members in good standing are eligible to participate. Members who have taken and passed the exam resulting in LEED AP Accreditation (any AP designation) may request consideration for reimbursement. Maximum reimbursement will be the cost of one full exam. In the event that a Member’s firm/employer pays a portion of the cost of the exam, the IIDA Member can still apply for reimbursement for the portion he/she has paid.  Download application here.

IIDA Members who have taken the exams between October 1, 2010 and March 31st, 2012 may apply. The deadline for applications will be May 15th, 2012. Awards will be given at the June Annual Celebration.

Eligibility for the 2013 Education Fund Awards will be March 31st, 2012 to May 15th 2013.
