Annual Sponsorship
Annual Sponsorship provides our organization with funds to support all events throughout the year. This sponsorship money also covers costs associated with running the organization such as secretarial, publications, board member education costs, just to name a few.
IIDA AIA Design Awards		The Design Awards Program celebrates interior design projects of Oregon designers and architects. This evening affair is the chapter's largest and most popular event of the year!
Annual Fundraiser		A guaranteed fabulous evening for socializing with industry members and an opportunity to win prizes.
Annual Dinner		Join Members in acknowledging the outgoing Board of Directors, introducing the incoming board and recognizing the past year's Sponsors at this must attend event!
Educational Forums		A variety of forum types that focus on design issues and related topics. Many events provide CEU opportunities.
Design Crawl		Experience award winning projects of the October Design Competition through a guided tour. This is a great opportunity for networking with design professionals.
Community Service		Every year, the Oregon Chapter sponsors a charitable event or individual. Our Chapter has been involved in helping children create holiday gifts, organizing donations of household items to local families, and donating toys to children.
Student Involvement		The Chapter continues to strengthen our support of students through Student Day and other events hosted by the Campus Centers. The Portland Metro Campus includes student representatives from the Art Institute of Portland and Marylhurst University. Another Campus is planned at Oregon State University.
Legislation		Oregon's IIDA Chapter takes an active role in initiating and building a dialogue about legislation through Professional Development and Educational Forums. These forums provide a place where members can learn about legislation and gain an understanding of the impact legal recognition will have on the profession.

The Chapter allocates sponsorship monies to the following areas:

General operating expenses. Publication of our Chapter newsletter and web page. Educational forums and forum events. Annual events such as the Design Awards Dinner and Chapter Annual dinner. Specialty events such as community service projects and our annual fundraiser. Legislation for Professional Interior Design registration in Oregon.
