What You Do
A Project Designer at Fluent Design is a person who has the ability to balance the role of a designer with the roles of manager and mentor. As a manager, a Project Designer will be responsible for growth and development within their team, scheduling available team members in conjunction with other Project Designers, and for meeting project timelines and budgets.
Requires comprehensive knowledge of programming and functional analysis, as well as knowledge of space planning principles. Has a full working knowledge of a construction document set. Knows Fluent Design’s electronic project filing standards, project delivery standards, and is able to properly utilize and teach both. Applies design principles in development and preparation of presentation drawings. May have immediate supervision of Direct Reports (e.g., upper level designers, Junior Designers and Interns. Markets to outside influences to create business. Manages all aspects of a project from original concept imagery through final punch.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture and a minimum 10 years of experience at an interior design, architecture, or design-build firm.
- Experience in a variety of interior design projects, with focus on office / corporate interior design.
- Must understand concepts of programming and how to apply them to various project types.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Must have demonstrated experience with Revit, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite.
