Interior Designer
Jones Architecture is seeking a skilled and motivated interior designer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on projects in programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
- Develop and document interior design concepts and details to meet the Clients’ needs and project objectives
- Collaborate on finish material selections and generate finish schedules
- Collaborate on FF&E, color palettes, and decorative lighting selections
- Engage with product representatives and fabricators to develop a knowledge of finishes and furniture
- Maintain the material resource library
- Produce meeting minutes, RFI and submittal responses and the construction administration of projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years experience in luxury residential, multi-family, or hospitality design
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited school
- Motivated to take initiative, produce high-caliber work, and seek direction as needed
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, leadership skills, and graphic communication skills
- A passion and knowledge of furniture, materials, and design concepts
- Working knowledge in Revit
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and SketchUp highly preferred
- Ability to sketch and draw by hand
